LuAnne Butler is a third generation builder, following in the footsteps of her father, Woody Butler and grandfather, Rex Butler. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelors Degree in Interior Design. She accredits learning the ins and outs of the building industry from years of work, building and designing homes with her father.

LuAnne still takes part in the Baylor University design program, demonstrating home construction in several phases to current students taking Building Construction courses. She also participates in giving comments on the yearly sophomore review of the student’s projects.

Eager to be involved in the community and building industry, LuAnne serves in several nonprofit organizations. For the past five years she has served with the Waco Junior League helping serve women and children of the community. In the building industry LuAnne has served on the Heart of Texas Builders Association Board of Directors since 2006 and the National Board of Directors since 2008. This year, LuAnne is serving as the first women President of the Heart of Texas Builders Association.
